Gypsy

OMG!!!!!! I can't' believe my amazing husband let me buy a Gypsy yesterday. I cannot put it down. I have wanted one for sooooo long. We had to go on the other side of town(like it is such a long way, it's only 20 more minutes) yesterday so I finally got to go to Michael's. I just went to get the MS Scoreboard and check out the clearance but......the Gypsy was on sale for $149. I have been trying for months to get one that cheap on eBay. When he said go ahead and get it my legs started shaking. He didn't believe me but I know some of ya'll will understand that feeling. I was on my way to put the rest of my cart contents back up when he told me not to. I feel so guilty buying me stuff that is not a "need". I am just so used to moving my "wants" to the side so him and Riley can have what they are wanting, I am so blessed that he makes sure I get some of what I want to. He actually let me order the Imagine on HSN but I went back and cancelled the order....felt to guilty, that is A LOT of money that can be used for other things :) I enjoy buying my paper anyway and have accumulated so many digital papers and images over the years. Next is whether to get SCAL or MTC... decisions, decisions :) Any suggestions out there? Anyway, I ended up with the Gypsy, MS Scoreboard, Traffic Jam CB embossing folder, and a few sentiment stamps for my cards :) :) :) :) My birthday was last month and I got 3 new carts, Just Because Cards, Hello Kitty Greetings and Pooh and Friends. Not being able to sleep and eBay is not good for the checkbook sometimes, but I manage to get my carts for $15 to $20 so I'm able to buy a few here and there. Well I better get back to my G, it's feeling neglected right now :) Hopefully I will be able to post some new pics soon, I have a lot of projects for CHRISTmas to work on and the G will make it soooo much easier. Happy crafting and hope you have a blessed day!!!

Summer creations

Oh my it has been a long time since I last posted something. I don't know if I will ever become a regular blogger. I just can't seem to find the time on a regular basis to craft , post, keep up with reading all my fav blogs, work full time, keep up with my DH & 4 1/2 yr old son and of course keep up with what's happening on FB. Props to all you ladies who are able to make the time to do it all. I LOVE following your blogs and seeing what all you create. Keep up the awesome and inspiring work.

Here are a couple of things I have made for a friends daughters birthday ~<[:o) party. The centerpiece is made using a few different carts. The monkey was made in DS using George (my first time REALLY playing in DS, took a few hrs/days and REALLY made me want a Gypsy) and the other carts used were CAC and SS font. This is the 1st one of 8 we had to make. Not much changed other than giving the cute little monkey some rosy cheeks :) I also made a birthday card for Caitlyn using the same monkey. The monkey on the inside of the card is actually a magnet I made by running it through my Xyron. Thanks so much for looking!!! Blessings to all!

Sorry for the lack of posts!!

I don't know how you ladies find the time to keep up with blogging. I am super impressed!! It has been awhile for me to be on here. Life gets so busy. We have been busy with baseball and just life in general. I am so far behind on reading the blogs I follow much less getting to post on mine. Here are some pics of a few things I have been able to accomplish. Just got my Create a Critter today for Mother's day and I have been playing with it like crazy today.

Oh My :)

What a time this has been. I want to do someting on here every week but I can't seem to find the time. Here are some pics of the birthday card I made today for a friend of my DS.

I used the Zoobaloo cart and a DCWV Animal Crackers mat stack for the papers. The rick-rack is from Hobby Lobby. The Base card and envelope are just some left from making Riley's invites for his b-day. Thank you for looking and have a blessed day :)

Birthday Card

Well, I am sorry I have not had much time recently to post anything. I finally made a card tonight and remembered to take some pictures. It was a birthday card for my DH's cousin. We all met downtown at the Station House for dinner. If you ever come to Chattanooga, that is one place to try, pricey, but I think it is worth it for a special occasion here and there.

Anyway, here are the not so great pics of my card and envelope. I was rushing around trying to get some taken before we left the house.

I have been trying to use up some plain white note cards and envelopes that I have accumulated so that is what I used for the base. The PP is just some I picked up at HL (I can't remember what line it is) and the textured pink CS is also from HL, I ran it through my new "Rasberry" Cuttlebug (that finally landed on my doorstep last week from HSN) with the Happy Birthday folder. The cupcake was cut on my big red bug using DoodleCharms, Can i just say I love that cart :) The stamps used on the card and envelope are just some I have picked up here and there on sale over the years, so again I don't recall the manufacturer. The adhesives I used were my Xyron 900, the Xyron X and my pop dots were from Wal-Mart.

Hopefully I will be posting more soon. It is baseball season so I can't make any promises. Thank you for looking and have a blessed day!!!
